Job Description

A leading law firm in Dallas is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 3-7 years of labor and employment experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to grow their practice under the mentorship of experienced partners. Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have trial and arbitration experience and be capable of handling cases independently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and responding to pleadings
  • Managing all phases of discovery
  • Drafting and arguing motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Participating in mediations and trials
  • Handling employment litigation matters, including:
    • Discrimination and harassment claims
    • Restrictive covenant and non-compete disputes
    • Other labor and employment-related litigation

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of labor and employment litigation experience
  • Trial and arbitration experience
  • Strong background in employment litigation
  • Experience managing cases independently
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to client service and teamwork
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active admission to the Texas Bar
